Program Director
Mike first worked at Beaver Camp in 1989 as a maintenance assistant and started in 1995 as Program Director, just a few days after graduating from college. He is married to Jeanna and the father of two wonderful kids, Caleb and Mackenzie. Mike grew up in a home where a personal relationship with Christ was emphasized, and his faith really began to become his own in late middle school and high school. His first memories of Camp were as a young child coming to a family weekend and then as a timid 9 year old coming to spend the week at resident camp. Observing staff at Beaver Camp living out their faith played a big role in his own faith. When not at Beaver Camp and Maple Ridge Center he loves to work on their house (they have renovated two older homes), spending time with his family, and reading…any book written by Jeff Shaara.

Facility Manager and Food Service Director
Todd and Marcia have been on our staff for seven years. Before coming to Beaver Camp, Todd served as a diesel mechanic in the Army and then worked for a paper mill; Marcia worked in day care before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Todd came to Beaver Camp several times growing up with his church. Marcia first visited in 1991 for a church service and baptism with Todd while on leave from his station in Germany. The two of them were here in the mid-90s for a couples’ retreat, and were woken up that Saturday morning by an earthquake! Todd accepted Christ in elementary school, but struggled in his walk throughout high school and young adulthood. In 1995 he rededicated his life to the Lord. Marcia grew up in the Catholic Church, and faithfully dedicated her life to the Lord along with Todd in 1995, when they were both baptized. Todd is an avid outdoorsman, loving the time he can spend hunting, fishing, ATVing, show shoeing and cross-country skiing. Marcia enjoys cooking, collecting recipes, photography and sewing.

Office Manager/Guest Group Coordinator
Lydia started her Beaver Camp career in June of 2005. She spent two years on summer staff and then worked per diem on the challenge course until October of 2010, when she became our office manager. She remembers asking Jesus into her heart when just learning to tie her shoes, but discovering in early high school a deeper level of relationship with Christ than she had known possible. Since then, she has described her faith as a series of “growth spurts.” The first time she came to Beaver Camp, she was picking her little brother up from his first week as a camper. Her stoic brother had yelled himself totally hoarse that week, and talked non-stop for an hour describing his adventures. She decided then and there that Beaver Camp was the place she wanted to be. She loves stories, especially ones that help her understand Truth more fully. The Chronicles of Narnia are some of her favorite gems. She loves to read, study the details of nature, and turn things worth remembering into scrapbooks.
