Recreation

We offer access to a 2-acre playfield; a waterfront facility boasting a sand volleyball court, tetherball, roped swimming area, Aquajump trampoline, canoeing, paddle boating and sailing; hard-surfaced ball court with sporting equipment; bouldering wall; horseshoe pit; Gaga court; and 9-hole Frisbee Golf course.  Indoor activities include foosball, air hockey, and ping-pong.  In winter months we offer cross-country ski trails and equipment and a tubing run.  For the most thrilling tubing experience in the North Country, visit our Maple Ridge Center Snow Park in Lowville (mapleridgecenter.com)!

Sleeping Accommodations

Beaver Camp has sleeping accommodations for 150 from June through October (Summer/Early Fall) and 110 from October through June (Late Fall/Winter/Spring).  Accommodations include:

Beaver Camp Cherry MotelMotel Rooms

Sixteen cozy rooms, each with a private bath.  Rooms sleep 3-4 people comfortably and are furnished with a queen bed (linens provided), bunk bed, and closet space.  All queen beds feature Symbol Ultra Dream memory foam mattresses—you're sure to wake bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!  Our motel units are equipped with dorm-sized refrigerators and microwaves; some have air conditioning, and all are heated.  Your first night in a motel room is $100.00; subsequent nights are $75.00 each. 

Beaver Camp Hawks HavenCabins

Our ten renovated, heated cabins each accommodate 10-14 people in bunk beds adjacent to full bath facilities.  Cabins include Eagle's Nest, Hawk's Haven, Loon's Loft, Cedar, Scotch Pine, White Pine, Tamarack, Juniper, Oak, and Spruce.  Cabin rates for one night at $35.00 per person; additional nights are $20.00 per person per night. 


Beaver Camp Hickory CabinRustic Cabins

For our guests who love the character and nostalgia of our original cabins, our three rustic cabins--Balsam, Hickory, and Red Pine--should bring back your best camp memories.  Each cabin accommodates 10-14 persons.  Two have a half-bath (no shower), and all are near the central bathhouse.  One night in our cabins is $35.00 per person; additional nights are $20.00 per person per night.


Cabin Tents and Tent Camping

Hike a quarter-mile to our Outpost Camp site for two 9-person platform tents and open Adirondack Lean-to.  Outhouses on site.  Groups may also choose to pitch their tents on our Ballfield, complete with stocked fire pits for your sing-alongs and vespers.  These arrangements are $5.00 per person per night. 

RV Campsites

Sprinkled throughout the main camp area, we offer four sites with electric hookups plus additional tenting sites.  We request a maximum of 6 persons per site.  Campsites are $35.00 for your first night and $20.00 per night thereafter. 

Deer Lodge Kitchen

Aside from the outstanding food our staff can serve your group, we offer a separate kitchen and dining area equipped to provide for groups of up to 50 people.  For $50 per day, you can enjoy a quiet family atmosphere while you prepare your own meals.  Perfect for your group outing, family reunion, or church retreat. 

Meeting Rooms

Beaver Camp has a variety of meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 125 people.  Meeting spaces are located in our historic turn-of-the-century Adirondack lodge and a large, heated pavilion.  To rent one of these rooms for your next outing, reunion or church retreat contact Lydia Huntress, our Office Manager, at info@beavercamp.org.

Deer Lodge

Adjacent to the rental kitchen, this renovated room can seat 50 individuals.

Bears Den

This cozy room adjacent to the Deer Lodge is an ideal break-out room for a group of 10-15 people.

Pavilion

This meeting room and recreation area can seat up to 125 people and contains a unique, open stone fireplace.

Beaver Lodge

This showcase room is furnished as it was in the early 1900s.  A unique room with a large working fireplace, its Adirondack ambiance accomodates up to 30 people.
