Join us for 2012’s Winter Camp Season of The Amazing Race!  You’ll experience exciting challenges, heart racing roadblocks and amazing pitstops – much like real life. Throughout the weekend, you’ll enjoy many games and great sessions on how to run your spiritual race.  The Amazing Race of life is a journey that you take step by step, day by day.  There’s no other way to describe it other than AMAZING!    Philippians 3:14 says I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.  Experience the weekend of The Amazing Race and continue with God’s Amazing Grace.  The world is waiting for you. “I’m bored, there is nothing to do” are words you will not hear at Winter Camp. Challenging firesides, meaningful worship, day & night tubing, street hockey and cross country skiing are just a few of the activities you can expect to do. Add in snow caving, football and indoor games and, of course, free time and you have a weekend that will be a highlight of your winter! Fulfill your need for speed on Beaver Camp’s tubing run. Experience the splendor of creation on cross-country skis or snowshoes. Have a blast with other youth playing hockey, snow football or building a snow cave. Warm up with a scrumptious meal from our buffet or a cup of famous Beaver Camp hot cocoa. Each camp features a speaker and worship leader or band.  Campers not registering with a youth group are supervised by a member of the Beaver Camp staff team (1 adult counselor for every 6 campers); making sure your child has a fun and safe experience.

Youth Groups – what’s the deal? Winter Camp is perfect for youth leaders who want to spend time focusing on their kids, not on all of the logistics of a weekend retreat. Let Beaver Camp take care of the details while you focus on building relationships with your youth! Leader fees are waived or discounted so the financial burden is reduced. One leader can attend free for every seven paid youth registrations; otherwise the special rate of $65 per leader applies ($40 for youth camp). 

Youth Winter Camp is a great first-time winter camp experience - designed specially for 8-10 year olds. All of the great indoor and outdoor activities that make winter camp so special, but only one night away from home! All Campers stay in heated cabins and are supervised by mature Christian counselors. Parents and/or children’s church leaders are welcome to come with your kids and be part of the experience.
